Professional Experience:

Prior to joining Weber Gallagher, Christine Benedum was law clerk to the Hon. C. Theodore Fritsch, Jr. of the Court of Common Pleas in Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She devotes her practice to the defense of civil litigation matters.

Some of her significant achievements include:

• Obtained a unanimous defense verdict in a major jury trial representing the Defendant, a property owner. The Plaintiff claimed she fractured her shoulder due to an alleged defect in the steps leading to her apartment and that the common area hallway was not lit due to tampering with the light system.

• Represented the Defendant in a major jury trial for a breach of contract action. Ms. Benedum obtained a non-suit in favor of the Defendant on Plaintiff's claim and a directed verdict in favor of Defendant on Defendant's counterclaim.

• Obtained unanimous defense verdict in a major jury trial. Ms Benedum represented the Defendant, a commercial property owner. The Plaintiff claimed she sustained a trimalleolar ankle fracture due to an alleged defect in a sidewalk joint.

Ms. Benedum has also obtained multiple defense verdicts at arbitrations in Philadelphia, Montgomery, Chester, and Delaware Counties in PA, as well as in Kent County in the state of Delaware where Ms. Benedum was admitted pro hac vice.
