Professional Experience:
Mr. Ranieri devotes his practice to the defense of general liability, construction and product liability matters on behalf of self-insured entities, insurance companies and third-party administrators. Some of his significant achievements include:
- Successfully argued before the New Jersey Supreme Court, causing a change in the law for municipal liability and conditions of public property;
- Certified as a Civil Trial Attorney by the New Jersey Supreme Court;
- Certified nationally as a Civil Trial Advocate;
- Argued an appeal that changed New Jersey state law on Dram Shop liability for foreseeability;
- Personally tried to verdict as first chair over 50 jury and 15 non-jury trials;
- Lectured throughout the United States on various mass tort/toxic tort cases.
From 2005 through 2009, Mr. Ranieri was recognized by the publisher of the New Jersey edition of Super Lawyers magazine as being among the top 5 percent of practitioners in his practice specialty within the State of New Jersey.
In 2009, Mr. Ranieri was named a Fellow of the Litigation Counsel of America Society, a national honorary society of senior trial attorneys.
