Professional Experience:
Ms. Kussoy represents health care providers and entities in various areas of health care law, including guardianships, discharge planning issues, licensure issues, electronic medical records, HIPAA compliance, professional negligence and general liability matters. She also represents clients in health care litigation and medical professional liability claims.
She has devoted the vast majority of her practice to the defense of hospitals and healthcare practitioners in medical malpractice cases throughout the Courts in New Jersey. The majority of these matters have been complex medical malpractice cases involving severe, permanent injuries, including death and brain damage.
Ms. Kussoy was recognized as a "Rising Star" by New Jersey Super Lawyers in 2006-2011 and she has received a BV rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Ms. Kussoy is fluent in Spanish.
