Professional Experience:
Bill Mills focuses his practice in the areas of product liability, complex mass tort, toxic tort and construction law.
In his mass and toxic tort practice, Mr. Mills has served as national and local trial counsel for a wide variety of corporate clients in claims involving occupational exposure to pesticides, lead, asbestos, silica, industrial adhesives and solvents, paints, welding fumes and other substances.
In his construction practice, Mr. Mills has prepared and negotiated complex contracts on behalf of owners and contractors for major industrial, commercial, residential, and government projects including oil and gas, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and power facilities in the United States and abroad. His construction litigation experience includes the successful prosecution of claims against a Saudi government-owned company in a $50 million dispute over an EPC project in Saudi Arabia, the recovery of several million dollars from a German pharmaceutical company on behalf of a U.S. contractor relating to the construction of a generic drug manufacturing facility, and the successful defense of a roofing sub-contractor in a multi-million dollar claim related to an exclusive oceanfront condominium project.
Previously, Mr. Mills was Senior Counsel at Aker Kvaerner (now Aker Solutions), a European-based industrial conglomerate. While at Aker, Mr. Mills managed all litigation for the engineering, technology and construction division, which had $2 billion in sales and 9,000 employees in 30 countries. In addition, he served as general counsel for the residential construction division, which developed numerous communities throughout the mid-Atlantic region.

Mr. Mills is admitted to practice in PA and NJ as well as the U.S. Supreme Court.
Active in his community, Mr. Mills has served on the Board of Directors of his local Rotary Club as well at his local YMCA, where he chaired the Partner with Youth Campaign to raise funds for youth sports programs.
