Professional Experience:
Mr. Davis devotes the majority of his practice to defending Workers' Compensation matters in state and federal court on behalf of insurance carriers, self-insured entities and third-party administrators. Mr. Davis Workers' Compensation practice is limited to Pennsylvania matters while his federal practice involves defending cases brought under the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act.
In addition, Mr. Davis served as a law clerk for past President Joseph T. Doyle of the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania from 1992-1994 dealing extensively with municipal law including the Zoning laws of Pennsylvania and Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation matters.
Mr. Davis served as a Township Commissioner in Nether Providence Township in Delaware County Pennsylvania from 1998-2004. He continues his commitment to community service by currently serving on the Zoning and Hearing Board of Middletown Township, Delaware County, Pennsylvania.
In 2011-2013, Mr. Davis was recognized by the publisher of the Pennsylvania edition of Super Lawyers® magazine as being among the top 5 percent of practitioners in his practice specialty within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Davis is a member of the Executive Committee and is also the 2012 Co-Chair Elect of the Workers' Compensation Section of the Philadelphia Bar Association. He speaks regularly on the subject of workers' compensation to clients, claims associations and trade groups.
Mr. Davis is the 2013-2014 Vice-Chair of the ABA Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section Workers' Compensation and Employers Liability Law General Committee.
