
Professional Experience:
David Rosenberg is the Co-Chair of the Insurance Practice Group. Mr. Rosenberg is a seasoned litigator who concentrates his practice in the fields of insurance and commercial litigation. Among his clients are some of the nation’s largest property and casualty insurers and their insureds. He has successfully tried cases in areas including premises liability, products liability, auto liablity, coverage, bad faith, toxic torts, subrogation and construction litigation. Mr. Rosenberg has successfully represented clients in a wide variety of professions and businesses including insurance carriers, manufacturers, distributors, professional corporations, agricultural concerns, contractors, retail establishments and property owners. His approach to litigation involves developing a creative litigation analysis with a focus on cost-effective strategies including, where appropriate, the use of alternate dispute resolution, mediation and arbitration.
In recognition of his skills, Mr. Rosenberg was named to the faculty of the 33rd Annual (2005) International Association of Defense Counsel Trial Academy at Stanford Law School. In 2010, Mr. Rosenberg was elected to the Board of Directors of the Foundation for the International Association of Defense Counsel.
Mr. Rosenberg is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law where he teaches Trial Theory and Practice and assists in the coaching of the Mock Trial Team.
Mr. Rosenberg also is a certified mediator in Pennsylvania concentrating in subrogation, property insurance and first-party insurance dispute resolution matters.
Mr. Rosenberg has achieved an "AV Preeminent" Peer Review Rating from Martindale-Hubbell. Mr. Rosenberg was named to Best Lawyers in 2013 for Insurance Law. In 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013, he was recognized by the publisher of the Pennsylvania edition of Super Lawyers magazine as being among the top 5 percent of practitioners in his practice specialty within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
