About the Program
The Summer Program at Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLP offers a stimulating environment for law students. We recruit only the finest students for our Summer Program, so you know you will be working with the best in your field. We are looking to establish a long-term working relationship with our summer associates.
What to Expect
Expect to be challenged! You will be assisting with litigated cases with the attorneys of our Firm. You will have the opportunity to observe trials, depositions and attend client meetings. This will provide you a glimpse of what life as a young associate will be like and to expect as a practicing attorney.
Work Assignments
Your work assignments at Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLP can include the drafting of documents, attending client meetings, observing negotiations and court hearings, as well as researching case law. Your assignments will be diverse and you will have the opportunity to work with partners and associates in all of our practice areas.
Feedback
Each Summer Associate is assigned a partner and associate mentor to help guide you through the process and to provide feedback to you as you progress through the program. All feedback that you receive is used to evaluate your progress and to assist Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLP in the hiring process.
Social Activities
Throughout the summer, the summer associates will attend various social events. These outings may include sporting events, wine tasting, and bowling to name a few. Through these activities you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with our partners and associates in a social and cultural atmosphere.
When we hire a Summer Associate, it is our expectation that he or she is capable of becoming a successful attorney at Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLP.
