Weber Gallagher partners David J. Rosenberg, Kenneth M. Portner and Matthew Stool co-authored an article titled "Insurance Industry Woes in the Aftermath of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita," published in the April 2006 issue of the International Association of Defense Counsel's Defense Counsel Journal.
The attorneys analyze the issues facing the insurance industry in the wake of the devastating hurricanes striking the southeastern United States in 2005, including the effect of legislative efforts to mandate insurance coverage, interpretation of existing policy terms, the rise of mold and pollution claims in the affected areas.
