June 14, 2004 : Patrick J. Stapleton III Reconfirmed as Liquor Control Board Commissioner
Patrick J. Stapleton III, a partner in the law firm of Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLP, has been unanimously confirmed by the Pennsylvania State Senate for a second four-year term as a Commissioner of the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board.
Stapleton was appointed to the Board in June 1997 by former Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Ridge and was unanimously confirmed for a full four-year term in May 2000. Gov. Edward G. Rendell nominated Stapleton for a second four-year term earlier this year.
Stapleton concentrates his legal practice in the areas of tort litigation, medical malpractice and commercial litigation. He recently was named one of Pennsylvania’s “Super Lawyers†by Philadelphia Magazine.
