January 10, 2006 : Deborah A. Kane Joins Pittsburgh Office

Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLP is pleased to announce that Deborah A. Kane has joined the Firm's Pittsburgh office effective January 1, 2006.

Ms. Kane represents defendants in a variety of employment, commercial and general civil matters.  Her employment law practice includes representation of employers in state and federal court and before administrative agencies, as well as counseling employers with respect to compliance with state and federal law, drafting employment-related agreements and policies, and advising clients in the handling of employment-related issues.  Before moving to the Pittsburgh area in 2003, Ms. Kane practiced law for seven years in California, where she represented defendants in employment and commercial litigation matters.

Ms. Kane is a magna cum laude graduate of Boston College (B.A., 1988), and a magna cum laude graduate of the University of San Diego School of Law (J.D., 1996).  She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association, the American Bar Association (Litigation Section), and the Allegheny County Bar Association.  She is licensed to practice law in Pennsylvania.
