James R. Hartline has joined Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLP as a partner in the Firm's Harrisburg office.  Mr. Hartline has been practicing in western Pennsylvania for over 30 years and is regarded as one of the premier medical malpractice defense attorneys in the Commonwealth, having successfully defended health care providers in hundreds of highly complex lawsuits involving catastrophic injury.  He is a member of the Academy of Trial Lawyers of Allegheny County and has been named as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer for the past four years.  His practice also includes the representation of defendants in general liability matters. 

Mr. Hartline is a graduate of Gettysburg College and the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, where he was Executive Articles Editor of the Law Review.  He is a member of the Bars of Pennsylvania, West Virginia and the United States Supreme Court.
