David J. Rosenberg, a a partner in the Pittsburgh office of Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLP, moderated and spoke at a discussion at the International Association of Defense Counsel's Annual Meeting in Rome, Italy.

The program, held on July 17, 2006, examined the myriad of issues impacting the legal field as a result of last year's Gulf coast hurricanes and the tsunami.  These issues included: 1) a discussion from IADC members who were displaced by storms and how they resurrected their practice and firms; 2) a discussion of property insurance coverage issues; 3) a discussion of mold coverage, damage and liability issues; 4) a discussion of re-insurance issues and the impact on London Market insurers; 5) a discussion of the legal impact on the energy and shipping industries.
