March 19, 2009 : Jeffrey D. Newby Speaks at Litigation Management Conference

Jeffrey D. Newby served as a panelist at the Council on Litigation Management Annual Conference held in Phoenix, Arizona on March 11 – 13, 2009. Mr. Newby discussed “New Strategies and Solutions in Workers’ Compensation: Communication the Key to Success.” Topics included key issues relative to decisions regarding whether to accept a Worker’s Compensation claim, a complete grasp of the law regarding course and scope of the employment must be obtained by the professionals who are placed in the position of deciding whether benefits should be provided or the claim denied, and a look at options for how to help the injured worker from a medical perspective.
