February 21, 2005 : Susan I. Schulman Speaks at Bar Association Conference

Susan I. Schulman, a partner in the Philadelphia office of Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLP, addressed the Pennsylvania Bar Association Commission on Women in the Profession at its Midyear Conference in Philadelphia on March 4, 2005.  The conference's theme is "Lessons Learned Along the Pathways to Success: Pearls of Wisdom from Leaders of Our Profession."

Ms. Schulman is a civil litigator with more than 20 years of trial experience in the areas of medical malpractice, product liability, complex tort litigation and commercial litigation.  She was appointed by Pennsylvania Governor Edward G. Rendell to serve as the Executive Director of the Governor’s Medical Malpractice Insurance Crisis Task Force in January 2003.  She recently was confirmed by the Pennsylvania State Senate to serve as a judge for the Philadelphia County Court of Common Pleas.
