We handle a wide range of complex product liability claims for clients ranging from a Fortune 50 manufacturer to family-held businesses. Our attorneys are experienced with cases that raise complex medical causation and damages issues as well as questions implicating the Uniform Commercial Code, maritime law, the sophisticated user doctrine, state and federal consumer fraud claims, and issues of indemnification for distributors.
While most of the litigation in which we are involved is venued in state and federal courts in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, because of the expertise we have developed with particular products, our clients have also retained us to defend claims in Maryland, New York, Connecticut, West Virginia, Ohio, Indiana, Washington, Florida and other jurisdictions. Our product liability practice involves regularly working with a range of experts in the fields of mechanical and electrical engineering, toxic chemicals, pulmonology, neuropsychology, commercial and consumer warnings, and epidemiology.
We also regularly advise clients regarding warnings and related labeling issues and other risk assessment matters.
Our Product Liability practice group is chaired by Marc B. Zingarini, who can be reached at 215.972.7906 or mzingarini@wglaw.com.
