Keanna works closely with her clients and their legal teams to develop comprehensive legal tactics for case strategies, trial preparation, and more. Keanna also assists with conducting factual investigations, reviewing medical records, developing exhibit lists, preparing court filings, and record management.
Keanna’s experience includes representing class I railroad companies in Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA) actions in federal and state courts throughout the United States. She previously practiced bankruptcy law in the Western District of Pennsylvania and credit card and consumer defense at a Pittsburgh-area law firm. In addition, Keanna has experience in insurance defense, professional liability, and family law.
Keanna graduated magna cum laude from the Pennsylvania State University with a B.S. in Sociology and a minor in Business Administration. Following college, she attended Duquesne University School of Law on a full academic, merit-based scholarship, and earned her J.D. in June 2017. At Duquesne Law, Keanna was a Juris Staff Writer and served on the executive board of the Black Law Students Association. In addition, Keanna was a recipient of the 2015 McGinley Public Service Law Fellowship award which she used as funding for her legal internship at the Allegheny County Office of the Public Defender. She also performed pro bono work for The Name Change Project, The Expungement Project, and The Landlord Tenant Project during her law school career.
