Richard E. (Rick) Stabinski
Rick Stabinski focuses his practice on general liability work, including construction matters and the Federal Employers Liability Act (FELA).
He appears in Pennsylvania and federal courts and has argued numerous appeals. His successes include obtaining a $20 million verdict on behalf of Exxon Mobil in a property damage lawsuit.
In 2015-2019, Rick has secured the transfer of fifteen cases from Philadelphia (for corporate defendants) based on improper venue. The transfers were based on the lack of regularly conducting business in Philadelphia to forum selection clauses. The transfers were by court order or agreement by the plaintiff's counsel after the filing of preliminary objections.
Rick has been recognized by the publisher of the Pennsylvania edition of Super Lawyers magazine as being among the top 5 percent of practitioners in his practice specialty within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. In 2013 and 2014 he was selected as a Top Rated Lawyer in Construction Law, and has achieved an “AV Preeminent" Peer Review rating from Martindale-Hubbell.
Rick is active in state and local politics, serving as campaign manager and senior advisor to numerous elected officials and sitting judges.
