Renee’s presentation was on Workers’ Compensation Medicare Set-Aside Arrangements and Chris spoke about Appeals Procedures.
About Renee M. Porada Fraizer
Renee Porada Frazier defends employers and their carriers and third-party administrators against workers’ compensation claims. She helped develop the firm’s Medicare Set-Aside Practice. Renee takes a legal approach to prepare set-aside analyses and obtaining Medicare approval of set-asides. She also analyzes conditional payments with the goal of gaining reductions in the Medicare liens. In 2015, she was recognized by the publisher of the Pennsylvania edition of Super Lawyers magazine as a "Rising Star," an honor given to the top 2.5 percent of attorneys in the Commonwealth.
About Christian A. Davis
Chris Davis defends insurance carriers, self-insured entities and third-party administrators in workers' compensation matters. Chris has received certification from the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Section as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law. Chris has been included in Pennsylvania Super Lawyers since 2011. Chris is President of Kids’ Chance of Pennsylvania for 2016 and 2017. He has been involved with the organization for four years. The nonprofit group helps teens needing assistance for college or vocational education because they have a parent who was killed or injured in a work-related accident. Chris is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's Workers' Compensation Section's Certification Committee.
