Philadelphia, PA- July 2, 2019- Richard P. Santosusso and Michael J. Rugnetta joined Weber Gallagher as associates in the Medical Malpractice Group and will be based in the firm’s Philadelphia office.
Santosusso joins Weber Gallagher from a firm where he was an associate handling a variety of liability work. Santosusso earned his J.D. from Villanova University School of Law in 2015, and earned a Bachelor of Arts from Seton Hall University in 2012. He served as a law clerk to the Honorable Donna Woelpper, Court of Common Pleas, Philadelphia County.
Before joining Weber Gallagher, Rugnetta worked for a Philadelphia firm doing litigation defense work. Before that, he worked for two years in Harrisburg at the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General in the Bureau of Consumer Protection, where he oversaw investigations, litigated cases, and worked on multistate litigation with other states. Prior to that, he worked in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas as a judicial fellow to the Honorable Angelo J. Foglietta. Rugnetta also interned for the Honorable C. Darnell Jones of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania. He earned his J.D. in 2103 from Boston University School of Law and his B.A. in 2007 from the University of Pennsylvania.
Both attorneys are licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
