Norristown, PA - October 12, 2012 - Carolyn Mirabile, partner in the Norristown office of Weber Gallagher and member of the firm's Family Law practice group, has been appointed to the Programming Committee and Executive Committee of the Pennsylvania Bar Association's (PBA) Family Law Section. The 1,400-member, statewide group is based in Harrisburg, PA.
Ms. Mirabile concentrates her practice in the area of Family Law, including divorce, support, custody, property distribution and the drafting of marital settlement agreements. In addition to her litigation practice, she has served as a court appointed custody mediator for more than a decade. Ms. Mirabile has also presented several mediation training courses and conducts mediation in the area of divorce.
Ms. Mirabile has been actively involved in the PBA since 1993. She was appointed to both the Programming Committee and Executive Committee by the President of the PBA's Family Law section. As part of her role in the Programming Committee, she will be responsible for selecting topics and speakers for the biannual meetings, as well as moderating monthly committee conference calls.
Ms. Mirabile will also moderate the Executive Committee's regular calls, as well as serve as a sounding board when the committee presents its agenda to the larger Council once every month. Members of the Executive Committee are also responsible for making decisions when the larger Council is not in session.
Ms. Mirabile is a 1988 graduate of Villanova University. She earned her J.D. at the Villanova University School of Law in 1991.
