Following its recent expansion into northern Delaware, Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLP is pleased to announce the opening of a second Delaware office in Dover, the state capital. Mary E. Sherlock will be the office's managing partner.
Ms. Sherlock focuses her practice on insurance defense litigation as well as first-party and third-party claims and subrogation matters. A practicing trial attorney for 26 years, Ms. Sherlock has litigated in all of the Delaware courts. She is a 1980 graduate of LeMoyne College and a 1983 graduate of Widener University School of Law.
Ms. Sherlock is a member of the Delaware Chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates. She is a former president and current board member of the Community Legal Aid Society, past member of the Delaware State Bar Association Executive Committee, past board member of the Delaware Bar Foundation, past president of the Kent County Bar Association, and a member of the Delaware Bar Judiciary Committee, the Terry-Carey American Inn of Court and the Elizabeth W. Murphy School Board of Directors.
