Philadelphia, PA – Tuesday, July 1, 2014 – Weber Gallagher Partner Robert D. MacMahon will conduct a DRAM workshop for the Greater Philadelphia Hotel Association on September 17. The program will be entitled, “Dram Shop Actions: Pre-Emptive Measures to Avoid Being Sued and What to do Once You’re Sued.”
MacMahon will address measures management can take to avoid litigation and what managers should do if a patron files suit. The Greater Philadelphia Hotel Association is a trade group representing more than 90 hotels in the five-county Philadelphia area. There are also an additional 150 members of companies in related businesses. Hotel members have more than 30,000 rooms and employ 14,000 people in the Delaware Valley.
Clients MacMahon represents include hotels, promoters, nightclubs, concert halls, arenas, restaurants and taverns. He handles general liability matters with a focus on premises liability and dram shop defense.
