Please Join Weber Gallagher for Our Women's Initiative Event Featuring Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon

Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon will discuss how she managed an incredibly successful career while also remaining committed to her family. She will speak about her efforts to advocate and work on behalf of children and families in the Philadelphia area.

Congresswoman Scanlon currently represents Pennsylvania's 5th Congressional District. In her previous role, she served as national pro bono counsel at a major U.S. law firm, where she directed and supervised more than 600 lawyers in 15 offices in providing more than 50,000 hours of pro bono legal services annually to low-income clients and non-profit organizations.

Congresswoman Scanlon also served as an attorney at the Education Law Center, as President of her local school board and as Co-Chair of the Voting Rights Task Force of the Association of Pro Bono Counsel. She currently serves as Vice-Chair of House Judiciary Committee and a member of the House Rules Committee and the House Select Committee on the Modernization of Congress.
