The Division of New Jersey Workers' Compensation has decided to keep its Lebanon Court open for operation.
That court facility is located at the Hunterdon Hills Plaza, 1390 Route 22 West, North Tower, 2nd floor, Lebanon. The vicinage handles injured worker claims for the counties of Somerset, Hunterdon and the southern half of Warren County.
The lease at that location was up for renewal and there were discussions of the potential consolidation of vicinages which would have eliminated that court from the New Jersey Workers' Compensation system.
While the location will remain the same, the court offices will be made smaller, with two judicial chambers and one courtroom. The court is supervised by Judge Kay Walcott-Henderson and Judge Michael Luther also presides in the vicinage.
