PA Statewide Average Weekly Wage for 2016 Announced

The Statewide Average Weekly Wage for 2016 has been announced by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor and Industry.

It has increased to $978 from the 2015 rate of $951. This increase affects the compensation rates paid to employees with injuries occurring on and after January 1, 2016. The 2.9 percentage increase also affects the maximum allowance for healthcare services provided, on and after January 1, 2016, under the Workers’ Compensation Act.
