The New Jersey Division of Workers' Compensation has extended the closure of the courts, except for essential personnel, until May 26, 2020 in continuing the goal of Governor Murphy to curtail the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Click here to view the May 7, 2020 Memo from Director and Chief Judge Russell Wojtenko, Jr.

Initially, Supervising Judges of each District Office were considered essential to hear as many workers' compensation matters as possible by telephonic conference or video conference. Click here to view the April 28, 2020 Memo.

At present, the Division is working with 29 Judges of Compensation on hearing as many workers' compensation matters as possible by telephonic conference or video conference. Click here to view the May 8, 2020 Memo.
