Lynne Gold-Bikin Interviewed on Custody Issues

Weber Gallagher Partner Lynne Z. Gold-Bikin discussed difficult custody issues on The American Law Journal’s “High Tech:  Raising the Kids with Today’s Thorny Custody Issues.” The panel Gold-Bikin was a part of examined issues including cellphone and internet discipline, passports and air travel for children and meeting mom or dad’s new significant other.

Gold-Bikin is a nationally renowned family law attorney who frequently appears on the major networks and is quoted in prominent newspapers and magazines discussing domestic issues. She has won numerous awards and literally wrote the book on divorce law in 1994 when her "Divorce Practice Handbook" was published. 

She is the Co-Chair of the firm’s Women’s Initiative, started in 2012, to support and develop the careers of women attorneys in the firm and to reach out to women in the community. Teaching women how to build their business and encourage them to be in charge of their careers is one of Gold-Bikin’s main goals in and outside of the firm.  Active in community, she is also Chair of the Upper Merion Zoning Hearing Board.

Gold-Bikin teaches at the Houston Family Law Trial Institute in South Texas College of Law and gives seminars for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.  This spring she will receive the 2015 Lynette Norton Award and the 2015 Legal Intelligencer Lifetime Achievement Award. Other recognitions she has received include 50 Best Business Women in Pennsylvania, KYW Women of Achievement Award and the Pennsylvania Honor Roll of Women Award. In 2014, she received the Eric Turner Memorial Award from the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association in honor of her 38 years of exceptional work and her teaching others in the field.
