Charles Starnes Joins Weber Gallagher’s Philadelphia Office

Charles Starnes will join Weber Gallagher as an associate this week in the firm’s Philadelphia office. Starnes will be in the firm’s Employment and Civil Rights and Municipal Liability Practice Groups.

Starnes comes from a Malvern, PA, law firm where he practiced employment law and handled municipal liability, civil rights defense and appellate matters. He has advised public employers and private insurers on issues including social media and litigation, PREA and wrongful conviction. 

Starnes graduated from Temple University Beasley School of Law in 2011. During law school, he interned with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office and the Philadelphia Law Department’s Civil Rights Unit.  In addition, he served as the managing editor of the Temple Political and Civil Rights Law Review.   After graduation, Starnes served as a Temple Conwell Fellow at Pennsylvanians for Modern Courts. 

He received an M.A. in 2006 from Villanova University and a B.A. in 2003 from Centenary College of Louisiana.

He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the U.S. District Court of the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court of the Middle District of Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the District of New Jersey and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.
