Christian Davis:  New President of Kids’ Chance Pennsylvania

12.14.15

Philadelphia, PA – January 1, 2016 – Weber Gallagher Partner Christian A. Davis is the new President of Kids’ Chance of Pennsylvania for 2016. He has been involved with the organization for more than three years.

The nonprofit group helps teens needing assistance for college or vocational education because they have a parent who was killed or injured in a work-related accident.  Started in 1997, each of the founders of Kids' Chance of Pennsylvania had an affiliation with workers' compensation. They included attorneys, brokers, underwriters, self-insurers and others interested in helping young people.  Davis has been involved with fundraising and other activities for the organization and has helped other attorneys at Weber Gallagher and regional firms become involved in Kids’ Chance.

Davis defends insurance carriers, self-insured entities and third-party administrators in workers' compensation matters. He is experienced in both the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Act and under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.  He has received certification from the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Section as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law.
