04.13.16

Philadelphia, PA – April 13, 2016 – Weber Gallagher Partner David G. Greene,  author of several chapters of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Practice & Procedure manual that is considered the “Bible” on workers’ compensation law in Pennsylvania, will speak at the Workers’ Compensation Practice & Procedure 2016 course this spring and is on the Course Planning Committee.  Topics covered in the course include Act 57, the Protz ruling, expanded role of the Review Petition, hot topics and communication and litigation strategies.

This flagship course, which will be taught in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia, Camp Hill and by simulcast, is given once every two years and attendees include workers’ compensation attorneys and judges from all over the Commonwealth.  The Practice & Procedure manual comes out every other year and about 1,400 copies are sold each time it is published.  The course will be given in Pittsburgh on April 28, in Philadelphia on May 4 and in Camp Hill on May 9.  The simulcast will also be on May 4. For more information on the program, go to www.pbi.org.

For the past 17 years, Greene has been a moderator and speaker for the “Tough Problems in Workers’ Compensation” course for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.  In his practice, Greene counsels employers, insurance companies and third-party administrators on how to best manage their Pennsylvania workers' compensation claims.  He works closely with his clients to provide appropriate risk management advice, whether that involves litigation or non-litigation services.
