Nicholas Pasciullo Joins Weber Gallagher’s Insurance Group as Partner

Pittsburgh, PA – January 3, 2017 – Nicholas Pasciullo, a prominent insurance attorney who concentrates his practice on  first-party property insurance coverage and service, will join Weber Gallagher’s Insurance Practice Group as a Partner in the firm’s Pittsburgh office. 

“The addition of Nicholas Pasciullo deepens the bench of our already strong, multi-office Insurance Practice Group,” said Paul M. Fires, Chair of Weber Gallagher.  “With Nicholas’ extensive experience in representing underwriters in complex property, energy and engineered risks insurance matters, we couldn’t be more pleased with his joining our firm.”

He assists clients in coordinating legal strategies to create adjustment, coordinating experts and resolving conflicts in a time efficient manner.  Pasciullo helps his clients resolve complex and catastrophic claims involving alternative dispute resolution, mediation and when necessary, litigation.  He also works with underwriters to write and edit wordings with claims executives to develop and modify guidelines.  He has used this skill extensively with cyber insurance matters. 

Pasciullo is also a certified federal court mediator and an E-Discovery Special Master appointed by the U.S. District Court.  In the areas of energy and engineering risk he works on matters of onshore energy; power generation; pipeline; transmission and distribution; heavy industry; constructions; refinery; metals; food production; and other manufacturing and distribution issues. In commercial work, he advises clients on CAT losses; hotels; resorts and attractions; retail centers; office space; condominiums; apartment complexes; healthcare facilities; long-term care institutions; and municipalities. 

Pasciullo earned his J.D. in 1982 from Antioch School of Law and his B.S. in 1979 from Antioch College.

He is a former Board President and current member of the Board for Conservation Consultants, Inc., a group that promotes sustainability in urban environments and assists low income families with ways to lower utility bills. Pasciullo is also a former Board President and former member of the Green Building Alliance. 

He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and Ohio.
