Warren, NJ – January 27, 2017 – Weber Gallagher attorney Richard S. Ranieri achieved recertification as a National Civil Trial Advocate from the National Board of Trial Advocacy (NBTA). The NBTA created an objective set of standards illustrating an attorney’s experience and specialization in the practice of trial law. Ranieri was first certified in 2001.
“Richard Ranieri is part of a growing number of trial attorneys that have illustrated their commitment to bettering the legal profession by successfully completing a rigorous application process and providing the consumer of legal services with an objective measure by which to choose qualified and experienced legal counsel,” according to a statement released by NBTA. “Certification and recertification require demonstrating substantial trial experience, submission of judicial and peer references, attending continuing education courses and proof of good standing.” Only three percent of American lawyers are board certified.
In his legal practice, Ranieri, who is based in the firm’s Warren, NJ, office, handles complex civil and environmental litigation claims. His matters include those involving genetically modified organisms, landfill contamination and hazardous spills. He also represents self-insured entities, insurance companies and third-party administrators in general liability, construction and product liability matters.
