Paul Fires Chairs 2017 IADC/FDCC Joint Law Firm Management Conference

Philadelphia, PA - April 24, 2017 - Paul M. Fires, the Chair of Weber Gallagher, was the Co-Chair and spoke at the IADC/FDCC Joint Law Firm Management Conference, April 5-7, in Chicago.  The Conference, “The 21st Century Law Firm:  Managing the People, the Practice and the Money,” hosted managing partners and firm chairs from across the country, along with client representatives and consultants.

 In addition to the three main subjects (which included breakout sessions by law firm size), the Conference also addressed the Dewey LeBoeuf scandal/collapse and Avoiding Catastrophic [Business] Disruption.

Brian Reeves, Weber Gallagher’s Chief Operating Office, also spoke at the Conference, on a panel entitled, “Managing the Firm’s Business.”  Weber Gallagher Partner David Rosenberg attended along with other IADC and FDCC leadership. Rosenberg is on the IADC Board of Directors. 

Fires is also the Co-Chair of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Practice and counsels some of America’s most prominent and diverse businesses, including insurance companies, on managing workers’ compensation risk.


Fires has been recognized for these abilities by U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers which named him Philadelphia Lawyer of the Year for Workers’ Compensation – Employers.  He has also been listed in Best Lawyers in the area of Workers’ Compensation – Employers every year since 2007.
