Weber Gallagher Attorney James Wescoe Speaks about Cargo Claims

Philadelphia, PA – May 1, 2017 – Weber Gallagher Partner James A. Wescoe, Chair of the Commercial Transportation Group, gave a presentation entitled, “Cargo Claims 101” at the Trucking Industry Defense Association Cargo Seminar, held in Tempe, Arizona, on April 5.  His talk was an overview of cargo claims law, defense strategies and issues for adjusters and defense attorneys.  In addition, he spoke at TIDA’s Skills Seminar, which was also held in Tempe, on the topic of insurance coverage for trucking companies.   

Wescoe, who is based in the firm’s Philadelphia office, litigates motor truck cargo, inland marine and trucking casualty matters.  He is also the Chair of TIDA’s Cargo Claims Committee.

He represents motor carriers, brokers, freight forwarders, transportation intermediaries and third-party logistics providers and their insurers.  His matters include trucking accidents, cargo loss and damage and freight charge and collection. He also handles contract matters.
