Chris Davis Appointed Vice Chair of ABA Workers’ Compensation Law Group

Philadelphia, PA – June 29, 2017 – Weber Gallagher Partner Christian A. Davis was appointed the 2017-18 Vice Chair to the American Bar Association Workers’ Compensation and Employer’s Liability Law General Committee. This will be the second term in this position for Davis, who is Chair of Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation for Weber Gallagher.

Davis is also the President of Kids’ Chance Pennsylvania, the nonprofit group helps teens needing assistance for college or vocational education because they have a parent who was killed or injured in a work-related accident.

In his practice, Davis defends insurance carriers, self-insured entities and third-party administrators in workers' compensation matters. He is experienced in both the Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation Act and under the Longshore and Harbor Workers’ Compensation Act.  He has received certification from the Pennsylvania Bar Association Workers’ Compensation Law Section as a specialist in the practice of workers’ compensation law.  Davis frequently speaks on workers’ compensation issues.  This month, he spoke at the 16th Annual Workers’ Compensation Conference in Hershey, Pa., on a panel entitled, “The Misclassification of Employees in Construction Work (Act 72).”  Chris also spoke at the conference about Kids’ Chance of Pennsylvania.
