Weber Gallagher Partner David G. Greene, co-author of the Pennsylvania Bar Institute’s Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Practice & Procedure manual that is considered the “Bible” on workers’ compensation law in Pennsylvania, spoke at the Workers’ Compensation Practice & Procedure 2018 course this spring. Topics covered in the course included case law update, EDI/WCAIS issues and tips, collateral estoppel, compromise and release strategies, and tips and emerging issues involving medical marijuana.

This flagship course was taught in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia and Camp Hill, and also by simulcast throughout the state. The Practice & Procedure manual is published every other year and more than 1,400 copies are sold. For questions or more information, contact David Greene directly at dgreene@wglaw.com, or go to www.pbi.org.

Greene, Co-Chair of the Workers’ Compensation practice at Weber Gallagher, was formally the moderator for the “Tough Problems in Workers’ Compensation” course for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.  In his practice, Greene counsels employers, insurance companies and third-party administrators on how to best manage their Pennsylvania workers' compensation claims.  He works closely with his clients to provide appropriate risk management advice, whether that involves litigation or non-litigation services.
