Philadelphia, PA – June 18, 2018 – Weber Gallagher Attorney Kenneth E. Sharperson will speak at the New Jersey State Bar Association conference entitled, “The Role of the Legal Professional in Civil Society: Combating Hate, Bias, Intolerance and Incivility,” on June 28, at the New Jersey Law Center in New Brunswick.
Sharperson, who practices from Weber Gallagher’s Bedminster office, is on a panel entitled, “Technology and Incivility – How Bias is Wired Into Our System.” Sharperson is also on the organizing team for a panel called, “From Bystander to Ally (to Upstander): What You Can, Should and Must Do to Combat Discrimination.”
In his legal practice, Sharperson defends national insurance carriers and corporate clients in coverage disputes. He currently serves as national counsel for clients in sophisticated insurance coverage litigation and commercial litigation matters before federal and state trial and appellate courts. He has worked with a wide variety of insurance companies on issues related to the duty to defend, bad faith, number of occurrences, allocation and notice and trigger of coverage. He has also handled the defense of claims related to D&O insurance matters, mass tort and environmental issues, media, technology and cyber liability, residual value insurance, financial institution bonds, errors and omissions, employment practices liability insurance, property insurance and professional liability matters.
