PHILADELPHIA, PA, November 19th, 2018- Sean P. O’Mahoney was a speaker at the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society’s Patient Safety and Risk Management Conference on Saturday, November 17th. The full-day program took place at the Chubb Conference Center in Lafayette Hill, PA. Sean presented a workshop entitled Psychiatric Malpractice: Practical Strategies for Risk Management. Sean spoke about The Mental Health Procedures Act, preserving electronic medical records, the dos and don’ts surrounding psychiatric malpractice, documentation protocols, and tips to follow when evaluating suicidal ideation and homicidal ideation.
