Philadelphia, PA, June 24, 2019 - Weber Gallagher Partner Paul M. Fires, Co-Chair of the firm’s Workers’ Compensation Practice Group, and one of the firm’s founders, was named “2019 Best Law Firm Mentor” by The Legal Intelligencer. Fires, who has been practicing law for almost 35 years, has mentored scores of associates and young partners. He was Chair of Weber Gallagher from 2008 to 2018 and is now Firm Chair Emeritus.
Fires has mentored those in the Workers’ Compensation Group along with attorneys in other groups in the firm. He also teaches a CLE entitled, “Creating Your Five-Year Plan.”

In his own career, Fires told The Legal Intelligencer, that he was fortunate to be mentored by Peter Weber, the founding partner of the firm. Weber mentored by example, Fires said. “Peter showed everyone how to become and remain an ethical advocate.”
