Three New Attorneys Join Weber Gallagher Law Firm

(Philadelphia, PA – August 21, 2019) – Evan D. Dalzell and Hendrick I. Penn, IV, have joined Weber Gallagher in its Pittsburgh office as Partners in the Workers’ Compensation Group.  One associate has also joined Weber Gallagher’s Pittsburgh office, in the Workers’ Compensation Group.

Dalzell and Penn have been defending employers, third-party administrators and insurance companies in workers’ compensation matters for the past 15 years. Both have litigated claims in myriad industries including retail, healthcare, gas and energy, food and beverage distribution, transportation, construction and the distribution of chemical products. They join Weber Gallagher from Post & Schell.

Penn has concentrated his practice on defending employers, businesses and insurance companies in workers’ compensation and has represented clients in trucking, construction and the retail industries.  He started his career representing employees and uses that experience to help him in defending employers in workers’ compensation claims.

He earned his J.D. at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and a B.A. from Washington & Jefferson College.  He is licensed to practice in Pennsylvania and admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania.  

Dalzell has spent his career litigating claims and counseling employers, businesses, insurance carriers and third-party administrators in workers’ compensation matters. He has represented institutions including healthcare, retail and energy companies. He has recovered settlements from the Supersedeas Reimbursement Fund for his clients.

Dalzell is a frequent speaker on workers’ compensation issues.  He earned his J.D. from Duquesne University School of Law and a B.A. from Washington & Jefferson College.  He is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.

Charley T. Monroe, who focuses his practice on workers’ compensation defense, joined Weber Gallagher as an associate in Pittsburgh.  Monroe has spent his career defending employers and insurance carriers.  Monroe earned his J.D. at the University of Pittsburgh School of Law and his B.A. from the University of Pittsburgh.
