Philadelphia, May 9, 2022 — Weber Gallagher proudly names partner Scott W. Bermack as the firm’s General Liability Practice Group Chair. Bermack is based in Weber Gallagher’s New York office.
Bermack takes the helm of an impactful and diverse team of peer-recognized thought-leaders on the cutting edge of legal developments and litigation strategies. The group handles a wide range of general liability matters, including claims involving construction defects, premises liability, property damage, fire loss, liquor liability/dram shop actions, civil actions arising out of the criminal conduct of third persons, defamation/libel and mass tort actions.

Bermack’s clients include national retailers, trucking companies, automobile manufacturers, medical and legal professionals, self and large retention insureds and liability insurance carriers. He also has experience in prosecuting and defending insurance coverage suits against carriers and insureds. He has also defended federal class action lawsuits brought under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.
