Philadelphia, November 6, 2023 – Weber Gallagher partner Kathleen Devlin has been named to the 2023 Irish Legal 100, an annual compilation of the most distinguished legal professionals in the United States with Irish ancestry. Devlin is based in the firm’s Bedminster office and is licensed in New Jersey and New York.
The Irish Legal 100, founded in 2008 by the Irish Voice newspaper in New York City, is an annual compilation of the most distinguished legal professionals in the United States who share one common bond: pride in their Irish roots. The list includes attorneys, legal scholars, and members of the judiciary who have distinguished themselves in their fields of endeavor.
Devlin has strong Irish roots with both set of grandparents originating from Ireland. Her paternal grandparents, Josephine (Cunningham) and Edmund Devlin were from Derry, County Derry. Devlin’s maternal grandparents, Catherine (Joyce) and James Cummins, were from Clifden, County Galway and Rathdowney, County Laois.
Devlin is an experienced litigator who provides advice to insurers and litigates coverage issues relating to various types of insurance policies, including comprehensive general liability, directors and officers, errors and omissions, employment practices liability, professional liability, commercial property and casualty, and public entity and public officials. Her practice consists of managing coverage cases and representing the interests of insurers in a variety of areas, including environmental contamination, asbestos exposure, toxic tort, construction defect, commercial matters, public entity, public officials, and professional liability. She also represents attorneys in legal malpractice actions.
Each Fall, the members of the Irish Legal 100 are celebrated at a reception hosted by the Ambassador of Ireland to the United States.
