Philadelphia, May 29, 2013 - Christian Davis, Partner at Weber Gallagher Simpson Stapleton Fires & Newby LLP, was appointed the 2013-2014 Vice-Chair of the American Bar Association Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) Workers' Compensation and Employers Liability Law General Committee.
TIPS is the source of knowledge and leadership on tort and insurance law within the American Bar Association. The organization provides CLE's, periodicals, and publications on tort and insurance law matters.
Mr. Davis devotes the majority of his practice to defending Workers' Compensation matters in state and federal court on behalf of insurance carriers, self-insured entities and third-party administrators. Mr. Davis Workers' Compensation practice is limited to Pennsylvania matters while his federal practice involves defending cases brought under the Longshore and Harbor Workers' Compensation Act.
