Matthew Laver Presents "Forum Selection and Settlement Efforts" to the Pennsylvania Bar Institute

Philadelphia, PA, July 24, 2013 - Partner Matthew G. Laver authored and presented the chapter titled "Forum Selection and Settlement Efforts," on July 18, 2013 at the Pennsylvania Bar Institute's seminar titled, "Managing Contracts to Avoid or Win Litigation/Litigating Breach of Contract Actions."

The presentation and chapter by Laver covered topics including arbitration clauses, arbitration rules, international arbitration rules and appealing an arbitrator's decision. Also discussed were strategies to effectively negotiate settlements, including an examination of the role of the judiciary in settlements and techniques to enforce a settlement agreement.

Laver devotes his practice to representing a wide range of professionals with a particular focus on the defense of lawyers.
