01.20.14

Lynne Z. Gold-Bikin, a nationally known family law attorney and partner at Weber Gallagher, received the Eric Turner Memorial Award this weekend from the Family Law Section of the Pennsylvania Bar Association in honor of her 40 years of exceptional work and her teaching others in the field. The award was presented at the PBA Family Law Section Winter Conference in Philadelphia.

“Lynne was a natural selection for the Award Committee,” said Daniel Clifford, Chair of the Family Law Section of the PBA.  “She has made mentoring young lawyers a cornerstone of her practice and she is the only past Chair of the American Bar Association Family Law Section from Pennsylvania.”

Gold-Bikin has designated the charity stipend that goes with the award to the Women’s Center in Norristown and the Montgomery County Child Advocacy Project.

Gold-Bikin, who has appeared on major networks and is often quoted in newspapers discussing domestic issues, is the author of the “Divorce Practice Handbook.”  She teaches at the Houston Family Law Trial Institute at the South Texas College of Law and gives seminars on family law for the Pennsylvania Bar Institute.  Last year, she was given the KYW Women of Achievement Award.
