Two Weber Gallagher Attorneys Join the Partnership

Weber Gallagher is pleased to announce the election of Noah E. Katz and Jeffrey M. Seyfried to the Partnership. 

Katz focuses his practice on medical malpractice, professional liability and general liability matters. Katz, who is based in the firm’s Scranton office, also counsels clients on estate planning as well as personal representatives and trustees on the administration of trusts and estates.  He also handles property-seizure cases and assists with litigation strategies in creditor's rights disputes. Katz has successfully defended clients at both the trial and appellant court levels. He has been instrumental in crafting a part of his practice to assist in nationwide coordination with local counsel, carriers, third party administrators and self insureds, on the applicability of the Affordable Care Act to claims of future medical damages in all types of catastrophic loss matters across the country. 

Seyfried focuses his practice on workers’ compensation defense. He represents self-insureds, third-party administrators and insurance companies. Seyfried, who is based in the firm’s Harrisburg office, litigates workers’ compensation matters before workers’ compensation judges, the Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation Appeal Board, Commonwealth Court and the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania.
