Philadelphia, October 16, 2023 – Partner Jennifer Shorr is named as the Co-Chair of Weber Gallagher’s General Liability Practice. With this appointment, 40% of Weber Gallagher’s practice groups are spearheaded by women.
Shorr is based out of the firm’s Philadelphia office. Shorr will join partner Scott Bermack as Co-Chair. The general liability practice handles a wide range of general liability matters, including claims involving construction defects, premises liability, property damage, fire loss, liquor liability/dram shop actions, civil actions arising out of the criminal conduct of third persons, defamation, libel and mass tort actions.

Shorr has nearly 30 years of experience defending hundreds of high exposure personal injury cases across New Jersey and Pennsylvania state and federal courts. She represents corporate clients whose businesses span a range of industries, including national supermarkets, restaurants, retail stores, shopping malls, airlines, department stores, banks, trucking companies, and other commercial property owners.
Shorr’s strong litigation experience includes premises liability, general liability, automobile, insurance fraud, trucking, and dram shop claims. Additionally, she is a regular speaker on a myriad of legal topics affecting commercial property owners, enjoys sitting as an arbitrator and mediator in litigation matters, and teaching continuing legal education classes.
