His wide-ranging experience includes handling commercial real estate, construction defect, toxic tort, premises liability, and motor vehicle cases. He has tried matters in every trial court of the State of Delaware, including the Delaware Superior Court and the Delaware Court of Chancery, and has been successful on appeal to the Delaware Supreme Court.
Walter has extensive familiarity with alternative dispute resolution proceedings, including arbitrations conducted under the auspices of Construction Dispute Resolution Services, LLC, (CDRS), one of the largest construction dispute resolution firms in the United States. He is admitted to practice law in the State of Delaware, the United States District Court for the State of Delaware, and the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Walter is a member of the Delaware State Bar Association where he serves as Secretary of the Torts and Insurance Section. He is named as “One to Watch” in the 2024 edition of The Best Lawyers in America, an award given to a select group of attorneys for professional excellence in private practice.
Earlier in his career, Walter represented individuals in domestic relations matters before the Delaware Family Court. He remains involved with the Delaware Family Court on a pro bono basis.
