Delaware and New York 2023-2024 Average Weekly Wage Rates

Delaware and New York have released the 2023-2024 workers’ compensation temporary disability benefit rates based on the statewide average weekly wage. These rates take effect July 1, 2023.

Delaware:

The Delaware Department of Labor has announced the new workers’ compensation rates. Delaware Secretary of Labor Karryl Hubbard has announced that the average weekly wage in Delaware for 2022 is $1,301.27. Pursuant to this figure, the maximum weekly workers’ compensation rate will increase to $867.52 and the minimum workers’ compensation rate will now increase to $289.18. New York:

The New York Workers’ Compensation Board has released the new workers’ compensation rates. In New York, on July 1, 2023, there will be a change in the max temporary disability rate to $1,145.43, up from $1,125.46. The rate change becomes effective on July 1, 2023.
