Georgios Farmakis is a civil litigator with extensive experience representing clients across a broad spectrum of legal matters at the state, federal, and appellate levels. Georgios’s practice primarily focuses on professional liability defense, where he regularly defends licensed professionals, including physicians, psychiatrists, chiropractors, medical professionals, and attorneys, in complex professional liability cases. Additionally, he represents medical providers, private employers, nursing home and assisted living facilities, municipalities, religious institutions, and transportation companies in general civil litigation matters.

Additionally, Georgios also handles personal injury, wrongful death and survival actions, employment law disputes, including harassment, discrimination, whistleblower, and wage-and-hour claims. Moreover, he has experience in defending civil rights claims on behalf of municipalities, healthcare professionals, and county correctional facilities.

During law school, Georgios served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Robert B. Kugler, District Judge, United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, honing his legal skills and gaining invaluable insights into the judicial process.

Cases and Experience

Secured summary judgement for a dentist in a dental malpractice and civil rights suit before the Eastern District of Pennsylvania against an 8th Amendment claim for denial of medical/dental care and a claim for medical/dental malpractice.

Secured summary judgment in favor of a township and its police department in a suit relating to a motor vehicle pursuit and fatal crash where the court concluded our clients owed no duty to the plaintiff as a matter of law.
